Second interview
As some of you guys know Tony had an interview at Emanuel Hospital as an admitting clerk. He got a call yesterday and they want to have a second interview in front of a panel of admitting clerks. He has it on Wednesday so please include him in your prayers.

Sunbeams
In case you didn't know, Tony and I are the new Sunbeams teacher for our ward. Today was our first Sunday teaching. We normally have 7 kids in our class, but we only had 3. We taught Bella & Maya Kern (Twins), and Aspen Wooley (she is a little ball of energy). Our lesson today was Heavenly Father has a plan for us. We did a few things that it said to do but it was hard to get it all in around all of the "look what I can do!" Also, its a good thing that Tony is sure of what gender he is because our girls tried to convince him that he was a girl wearing a dress. He then said well if I'm wearing a dress then you guys are wearing pants. They all screamed NOOO and laughed. We had a lot of fun. They are very cute kids. I think that we are going to have a lot of fun teaching them.

Our friends
I was looking through the pictures to get one of our wedding, and I found this one of our friends Nate and Heather Spencer (who we call Nate-ster & Heather-ster) We Miss them :(
Me & Hilary
So over the break I was able to hang out with one of my best friends from highschool, Hilary. It was very nice because I haven't seen her in over 2 years. We went to cold stone and had some icecream and then went back to my parents house to hang out and talk. I would argue that she is the best longdistance friend that anyone could ever have. She sends cards on almost every holiday and birthday, post cards from the places that she goes to, and calls every now and again just to see how you are doing. I am so greatful to have a friend like her.

Ahh!!
So I decided that I wanted to have a cute blog background and in doing so it deleted all of my side stuff. I couldn't remember what everyone's blog html is so if you could give it to me so I can add you again that would be great. I got a couple obviously but not all.

Boardman Family
This is a picture of when we went home for Christmas. I still have more to come, but I am waiting on them from one of my sisters. As you can see it snowed quite a bit. I just thought this would be a fun picture to put on. :)

HI-HO HI-HO it's back to school we go!
Tony and I started school on Tuesday. It isn't too bad, but it is definitely a change from BYU-Idaho. They aren't really together when it comes to their administration. Their departments are definitely lacking quality people to run them. We had a guidance counselor who told us to wait another year to start school, and then financial aide people who tell us they have no little idea on when grants or scholarships will be awarded. It has been frustrating, but is slowly starting to smooth out.Our Argumentative class is interesting to say the least. There is a guy (its really debatable though because he has hair down past his mid-back, and as you might have guessed it's not so cute....) who sits during class and drums with his thumbs. It takes almost all my energy to not say something and disrupt the class. On top of that our teacher is.... yeah.... He is a mixture of an uncool version of Jack Black and that annoying kid on Hey Arnold! who sits behind Helga on the bus and breaths super loud. Not to mention that his clothes are anything but professional (button up shirt that exposes tentacle like chest hair... *gag!*). Our Sociology class will be different for sure. The class is focusing on families, but it will be interesting to see what other people outside of our religion think of certain things.
P90X kicked our butts
So as you all know Tony got the P90X for Christmas. We got back and gave it a try. We did the Chest and Back DVD and let me tell you it is not for wienies. We did probably 200 push ups and then countless pull ups (we just used a resistance band over the door and it works the same way). Our arms, chest and of course back hurt soo bad for the next few days. We have decided that we need to do the lean workout first before we start bulking up with classic or double workouts. The guy is kinda weird, but you get used to it after a while.

Cranky Flight Attendents... Scary Pilots
So as we stated earlier we went to my parents house for Christmas. When we were on our way home we had just landed in Chicago. People had started to undue their seat belts and the flight attendant came on and said, " Just so you know I can hear you unfastening your seat belts. It is a federal offense to deliberately disobey the Captain and/or flight attendants instructions." So we left the plane thinking 'chill out lady', but then as we were flying out of Chicago the Captain had the audacity to tell us "Sorry for the delay folks, but they are fixing a major part of the plane before take off and we need to do a ground spark to get one of the engines running and then as we pick up speed the other one will just start itself... but don't worry this is all very normal so just sit back and enjoy your flight. And oh... thank you for flying United. :)" I don't know why this guy thought this was a good idea because it sure freaked a lot of people out. The girl next to me was hugging her legs practically the whole flight and it didn't really give me much assurance. Tony sat there with his sweatshirt over his face (mainly to sleep and to just have darkness, but it did help me calm down his nerves) Anyway it wasn't a bad flight, but I just thought it was interesting.

Christmas Jitters
So, this year Tony and I went to my parents house for Christmas in Michigan. We brought Roxy with us on the plane and she did fantastic (... thanks to puppy sleeping pills and it already being so late when we took off anyway). Everyone was so excited to see us and it being Christmas eve it made it all the better. My oldest brother like always has troubles sleeping at night because he can't hardly contain his excitement, and everyone else follows close behind him with their excitement. Ben (my younger brother) had the pleasant opportunity of sleeping in our room christmas eve. He couldn't fall asleep, but only half was excitement and the other was that Tony snores quite heavily some nights, and this happened to be one of those times. When we got up the next morning we stuck to our routine time of 6:30 am. We ran down stairs and things weren't totally like normal because Rachel wasn't there. Everyone was so tired. We got our Santa gifts then we had a very nice breakfast and then proceeded back to bed. Some would say that there is no point getting up so early, but no one seems to complain too much.
