At last...

So we are finally all moved in (well almost... we still have clothes to sort through). In some ways it seems like we never left and we were just on a long vacation. Although, I will say that our apartment is looking a lot better than that last time. We actually have pictures and real plates, and a dresser! We did have to jimmy rig (sp) a TV (two Sterelite drawers) stand and our night stands (storage totes), but at least it looks decent. I am working back at my old job and I am loving it. I still deal with angry people, but at least I know how to handle them and I can answer most of their questions. At any rate things are going well. It is nice having my sister in the same complex. We had dinner last night and then talked and played games. We have decided that Sarah is banned from talking to Roxy because she gets too excited and pees, but we don't have to worry about Jared because Roxy is horrified of him for some reason. She will go and hide behind Tony and her eyes get really wide when he tries to hold her. It is quite funny actually, but rather sad. Anyway, there really isn't much going on. I just thought that you would be interested in knowing that we are doing ok. :)

On the Road Again...

So I know that this isn't going to be a suprise to anyone, but Tony and I are moving yet again. (big shocker eh?) We are moving to Arizona (again) to go to school and to get a better handle on our finances. We wanted things to go well here in Utah, but since there is such a huge wait list for the nursing schools and his job didn't really work out (long story) we felt really good about going to AZ. We will keep you all posted on how things go. This is going to be the last move for the next 3 years (hopefully *crosses fingers*)

Boardman's Biggest Loser Contest

So the Boardman family (my family obviously) had a Biggest Loser Contest to lose weight, but more importantly get healthy. We Started this about 4 months ago and I decided to join the fun. I am proud to say that I was the winner after losing just over 12% of my weight during that time, but since September I have lost a total of 35 lbs. I don't say this to brag or anything, I am just really proud of myself because it was really easy to put the weight on and took a lot of effort to take it off. Thanks to all of you who provided support in all of this. (Specifically my family, friends in Turlock 3rd and 4th, and co-workers). I couldn't have done it without you :) I don't care about the Prize money, but the real prize is how good I look and feel.

Confession....

Fact: I have become OBSESSED with the Twilight Series books. I read all three books in less than a week and I am not embarrassed to admit that.

If you have not read these books already I highly recommend them. They are so gripping and intense that I had to force myself to go to bed (I realized this at 2:30a each night) I was inevitably exhausted, but well worth it. My friend Roberta delightfully gave me the flu, but that just allowed me more time to read them uninterrupted. Tony was gone this week and so this was absolutely perfect. I think the reason why I loved the books so much was because Edward's character reminded me so much of Tony... well besides the whole vampire aspect (and doesn't have the physical description of Edward, but I still think that he is totally breathtaking none the less).... You'd have to first read the books to know Edward's character, but more importantly know Tony the way that I know him. Without going into all the gooshy details this is why I think Tony is my "Edward": First off he hunts (not in the same way, but still) He will do absolutely anything in his power to protect me (even if he does go overboard sometimes), he thinks I am the most beautiful woman in the world, he is always looking out for my feelings, and he loves me more than words describes. On top of all that I honestly think that Bella reminds me of myself a little bit. This is why I think I'm Tony's "Bella": I am sometimes reckless and stupid, stubborn, yet firm about my decisions and actions, I have had some of her same internal conflicts, and I can be a huge klutz at times (not enough to hospitalize myself, but I always have cuts and bruises from running into things). The only difference is that I don't have to drink blood to be with him for eternity. As I write all this I'm sure it makes me sound über crazy, but I have not been excited about reading as I am now. I can't wait for Eclipse's sequel to come out in August and the Twilight movie in December (even though I think that they could have picked a better looking actor to play Edward... Robert Pattinson is cute, but not at all how I pictured him)!!!! Anyway, I'll stop boring you all with my new obsession, but I thought I would update and explain my bit of a disappearance.
