Question....
How do you know if you are getting a good value on a travel system stroller? What is the minimum features that one should look for? I have 3 strollers in mind, but I don't know which one to choose. Any advice on picking a good one?

try to find the smallest one you can! that goes for the stroller AND the car seat. fold it up and see if you can put it in the back of the car without throwing out your back! seriously, i bought one with every feature imaginable and it was SO HEAVY that i never even used it... i just used the 10.00 umbrella stroller as soon as they were old enough. and the car seat was really heavy too. it was the graco snugride travel system, i think. i think the combi one is really light and small... if i were buying again i would check that one out for sure. :) good luck!
Lightweight, basket underneath, cup holders, easy fold and unfold. Try reading customer reviews and see what other people have to say about them.
I wouldn't get one of those travel system things. Seriously they are so big and bulky that I never used mine. It was a huge waste of money. They are great for holding a car seat but after a few months you never use that part and then you just have a huge, heavy stroller you never want to use. I would buy a car seat by its self and then find a light weight, but durble stroller that will last a long time. I second getting one with a cup holder and large basket underneath.
My sister got this one: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3299773&fromRegistryNumber=58631831&product_skn=183772
You have to buy the infant car seat separately, but it folds up small. I got a travel system and wished I hadn't. I really like my sister's.
